It appears there's a new fishing rod and reel waiting at the local post office for me to pick up. It was an impulse buy as I'd long thought that one of the little mini ice fishing rod and reel combos would make a great little rod for fishing from the dinghy or using it as a dedicated Sabiki rig rod/reel comb

OK, I have to admit I'm a little bit impressed.
When I saw that Walmart had these little rod/reel combos on sale for under ten bucks I thought what the hell...
