A lure just about everyone could use a few of in their kit...

Jigs like these are pretty easy to make and, a picture being worth a thousand words, I don't expect you'll need a how to. Make some big ones to troll as well as some smaller ones for casting in an anchorage. They're very productive however you decide to use them.

That said, Cabelas currently has this pattern on sale for about what it would cost to make one...
